TV and Smart Home Offers

This is our favorite TV for most (9/10, WIRED recommends), and this is the lowest price we have ever tracked for the 55-inch model. It has a quantum dot panel for bright colors and uses local dimming zones for deeper black colors in your movies and shows. It has a built-in Roku interface and the Micro-LED backlight delivers outstanding contrast. This agreement is also available at Walmart.
It may not look like a deal, but this price has recently dropped to the lowest ever. This is one of the most beautiful TVs we have tested. The frames are super slim, the OLED panel is amazing and delivers deep black and rich colors, and it has an Android TV interface, which means you can also cast for it from your phone. It has strange feet at the ends, so it is best to wall mount it unless you have a large TV stand.
This is a basic entry-level TV from Hisense, but we like the brand and trust its build quality, unlike some of the other generic Amazon TVs we have not tested. You get Dolby Vision support for high dynamic range (read: more beautiful colors) and a built-in Fire TV to stream your favorite Amazon shows.
This is only $ 2 more than the lowest price we have ever tracked. The U8G (8/10, WIRED recommends) has an elegant design, an Android TV interface and a raised stand that fits a soundbar downstairs. Its excellent local attenuation provides great contrast to the quantum dot panel, and you also get a 120-Hz screen refresh rate. Pair it with a PC with an AMD card to make use of the AMD FreeSync support for smoother gaming.
If you’ve been looking for an extra-large screen, this is one of the best discounts we’ve seen on a 75-inch model in months. It comes with Fire TV for easy streaming and Amazon shopping, plus full-range local dimming means black levels and highlights look better than on cheaper screens.
This deal matches the lowest price we have tracked for Chromecast with Google TV (8/10, WIRED recommends). The gadget is the best 4K streaming device for people who like Google Assistant and anyone who often uses an Android phone to stream. There is still a smart and user-friendly interface that you can control with a cute remote control. Be sure to check out our guide on how to use Google TV to get the most out of your purchase. This price is matched to Goal.
This deal is only available to Amazon Prime members and the price matches the lowest we have seen. Eero 6 is one of the easiest mesh routers to set up. The compact design does not take up too much space around your house, and you get a router with two extensions here. There’s also a user-friendly mobile app, though additional features like parental controls are the payment wall behind a $ 3 per subscription. month. You can also get the version with three routers if you want extra Ethernet ports and a slightly better range – that’s it also on sale for $ 186 ($ 63 off). For more advice, see our guides on how to buy a router and how to improve your Wi-Fi.

Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra (9/10, WIRED recommends) is an excellent all-around advanced Android phone. It excels in almost every category, and it even gets Android version upgrades longer than the Google Pixel phones (strange, considering that Google maintains the Android operating system). It’s a massive phone that even includes a built-in stylus, but the highlight is the spectacular camera with 10X optical zoom that lets you take sharp pictures of objects far away.
The A53 5G (8/10, WIRED recommends) has pretty much all the features most people need, including 5G, NFC for contactless payments, more than a day’s battery life, IP67 water resistance and a MicroSD card slot. Then it goes a step further with advanced perks like a 120-Hz AMOLED display, four OS upgrades plus five years of security updates. At this price, it is a unique value.
If you’ve bored with smartphones that are basically rectangular plates, a folding phone like the Galaxy Z Flip 3 (7/10, WIRED recommends) might excite you. It recently dropped to $ 700, but this is still one of the lowest prices we’ve ever tracked for it (and one of the lowest prices we’ve seen on a foldable phone). Unlike previous versions, the third generation Flip is much more durable – complete with IPX8 waterproofing. This compact device includes a smooth 120-Hz display, wireless charging and 5G connectivity.
Moto G Stylus 5G (6/10, WIRED review) received an honorable mention on our summary of best Android phones – we beat it for its lack of software and security updates as well as substandard cameras (compared to similarly priced Pixel 5A and Samsung Galaxy A53). However, it offers smooth performance, two days of battery life, 5G connectivity and NFC for contactless payments. The built-in stylus is also convenient for taking notes or signing documents directly from the smartphone.
Yes, technically, Apple has announced a new MacBook Pro with the M2 chip, but this more expensive MacBook Pro from 2021 and its M1 Pro processor is actually much more powerful. This is the machine for anyone who needs to perform some serious CPU-intensive tasks, from photo and video editing to 3D rendering. It dropped $ 50 lower in April, but it’s still a good deal. This machine has lots of ports, including HDMI, and a 1080p webcam. Read more in our best MacBook guide.
The Pixelbook Go is getting a little old, but it’s still an excellent, no frills laptop. It’s a Chromebook, so it’s just a great option for anyone who can work completely outside of the Chrome browser (even though Android apps are available through the Google Play Store). Read our best Chromebook guide for more details.
You will have to buy keyboard attachment to get the most out of this little Windows laptop (any Bluetooth keyboard will work too). Surface Go 3 is not very powerful, but it is good enough for simple tasks such as surfing the web, sending emails, editing documents and watching YouTube.
The newer 2021 edition of the Kindle Paperwhite is the best Kindle for most, but the older generation is still solid – and thanks to this discount, $ 50 less. The 2019 version lacks USB-C charging and the improved display of the newer counterpart, but it still has backlighting and adjustable warm lighting. Read more about it in our in-depth review. This deal brings the price down to just $ 5 higher than we saw on Prime Day last year. Note: There is a chance that the newer versions will go on sale when Prime Day begins, so keep that in mind if you are in the market.
Smartwatch and audio offerings
WIRED senior associate editor Adrienne So calls the Apple Watch SE (8/10, WIRED recommends) the best Apple Watch for most people, making this a great time to get it at a discount. It does not have all the health features of the advanced Apple Watch Series 7 (too for sale for $ 329), but it has most of those that matter in everyday life. Read our Apple Watch Guide for more details.
This is the lowest price we have ever tracked for Amazon’s fitness tracker. Senior associate editor Adrienne So says it’s comfortable to wear, even though it recommends taking off your underwear to measure body fat composition. It can perform the usual fitness tracker functions, such as tracking steps, heart rate, sleep and oxygen levels in the blood.
This Wear OS smartwatch will receive the update to Wear OS 3. It is also one of the only Wear OS smartwatches you can expect to comfortably hold for two full days, thanks to its smart dual-display technology. It has a smooth interface and it does a good job of tracking health measurements like blood oxygen velocity, number of steps and continuous heart rate measurement. Read more about it in our best smartwatches guide.
This speaker is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, so it can take a dip in the pool without worry. It’s portable, has a nice leather strap, and it’s one of the best sounding little speakers we’ve ever heard.
I love Echo Dots (8/10, WIRED recommends) more than just any other smart speaker. They are small, sound pretty good and work perfectly for sleep sounds, timers and a quick check of the weather. Last Prime Day, the price dropped as low as $ 25, so it’s worth the wait. Be sure to read our guide on how to make your Amazon Echo as private as possible.
This model is specifically not included in our guide to the best Bluetooth speakers, but we generally like JBL products. The compact Go 3 is designed with portability in mind. The robust construction is resistant to water and dust, making the speaker a good companion for hiking or beach trips. Most colors are discounted. This price matches the lowest we have tracked. Several JBL speakers are for sale here.
