Best Cheap Laptop Deals

Cheap laptops come in many forms, from budget Chromebooks to kid-friendly, start-level Windows laptops, all for $ 700 or less. You can find more of our favorite cheap laptops here.

Asus Chromebook Flip C434

In our best Chromebook guide, this Asus machine shows the way, and it has gotten even better with this discount. This is a nicely balanced laptop with plenty of battery life, a comfortable screen and solid performance. The 360 hinge also makes it friendly for watching movies and videos.

When it comes to cheap laptops, Acer is one of the most productive brands. The Aspire 5 is an improved – but slightly more expensive – version of one of our favorites, the Aspire 3. This model offers a great 11th generation Intel Core i5 and 8GB of RAM for under $ 400. A 256-GB SSD is not a huge amount of storage space, but it should be sufficient unless you are a file hoarder. (If you are, you can always pair it with an external SSD).

Best deals on gaming laptops

Gaming laptops are generally not cheap, so it is always nice to buy them on sale. Below are some power plants and value machines.

Acer Nitro 5

The Nitro 5 Series is one of our favorite budget gaming laptops, and while this is not the latest model, it’s still one of the cheaper ways to get into high-fps gaming, right now. with almost $ 100 off. Along with a 10th generation Intel CPU, you get 8 GB of RAM, a 15.6-inch 144-Hz screen and an Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU.

If you are looking for a beginner-level gaming laptop, then a machine with an Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU is what you want. For less than $ 700, you still get a 144-Hz panel, 11th-generation Intel Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD. It’s a combination to ease basic gaming needs, and MSI is a typically credible brand that will handle the task.

Best portable deals

You may have come here looking for a direct bargain, but these are decent deals on some more luxurious machines.

LG Gram 16

This is a big discount on a just released machine, although only Costco subscribers can benefit from the deal. It is so new that we have not tested this model yet, but its predecessors have offered a remarkable combination of a large screen and feather-like weight. Gram does not use the most luxurious building materials, but its unique portability for such a large device – as well as good specifications, including a 12th generation Intel Core i7 – make it worth considering.

The new Galaxy Book 2 series has just landed, but the previous iterations are still amazing – especially at these recently reduced prices. The standard Galaxy Book Pro model features an AMOLED screen (beautiful color and deep black), 11th generation Intel Core i5 CPU and 8GB of RAM in a well-built, stylish design.

Best deals on laptop accessories

Working on the couch is good and good, but there is plenty of room to make your desk more comfortable and simply better. Here are a few offers on top accessories, from monitors to another monitor to a quality webcam for Zoom meetings.

Razer Viper Ultimate

Razer’s Viper Ultimate is our favorite wireless gaming mouse that comes with a dock, making it extremely easy to fill up when it’s finally time to recharge it. In addition to this level of convenience, this mouse is really responsive with a 20,000 dots per second. empty optical sensor, eight programmable buttons and 70 hours of battery life.

Game screens with high refresh rates used to be prohibitively expensive – especially with boosted 1440p resolutions. Fortunately, they have started to fall in price over the last few years. We typically like Asus’ TUF gaming brand, and this screen gives you a fast 144-Hz refresh rate, 1440p resolution, 1 millisecond response time and FreeSync Premium, making it ideal for anyone with an AMD graphics card. At 32 inches, it is a good size for a desk setup in the bedroom.

How to buy a refurbished laptop

Buying refurbished is relatively straightforward, with dealers and manufacturers offering restored units at attractive prices. Dealers like Amazon, Best buy, Neweggand Walmart sell these laptops. Brands like Apple, Delland Lenovo also sells refurbished models in their own stores.

The key is to find out what “refurbished” means on each of these sites so you know exactly what you are getting. First, refurbished can often mean a device that has been tested to still be in good condition or restored to meet certain standards, along with a new warranty.

For example, this is an excerpt from Best Buy’s refurbished laptop policy: “A refurbished item has been inspected, repaired and restored to as new, clean, functional condition and includes all parts and accessories. These are generally electronics that have been returned for some reason… Because they have been through a careful inspection process to ensure that they work as good as new, the best refurbished laptop is actually less likely to have defects or problems than one that comes from the factory .. “Most refurbished items are covered by the Best Buy Return & Exchange Promise and come with a minimum 90-day warranty.”

Policies differ between dealers, so it’s worth checking to see if there is a thorough testing process and if these devices have been refurbished to a “good as new” standard (and if they come with a new warranty). It is also worth checking the refund and return policies in your state or country to see what you can do if you encounter out-of-warranty issues.
